Moderation Staff

Moderation Staff:

These positions are the face of the server. They are the ones more likely to be playing on the servers

and helping alongside it. They handle things from player relations, player disputes, in game lag

busting, grief reports, and things like that.

Head-Moderator:

1. Primary manager for the server assigned, HOWEVER, still expected to help on other servers when needed.

2. Ability to help manage their own server, with administrative approval.

3. Facilitates the communication of issues and or concerns for their respective server to the administrative team.

4. Takes part in the staff application decision process.

5. Retains all responsibilities of the moderator position. 

Moderator:

1. Face of the server, deals with in game data roll backs and player investigation as needed.

2. Ability to perform server roll backs as needed during corruption events, must report when this occurs. 

3. Ability to restart the server if the server is acting up, must report when this occurs.

4. Bug Investigation:

   1. Gathers information from a ticket to try and produce a repeatable way to cause the bug

   2. Investigates bug reports in singleplayer to see if its repeatable and or server specific

   3. Reports back findings for administration to report to the pack devs, or to investigate further if its server specific.

5. Temp bans and higher tier punishments. Bans should be reported to the rest of the staff team to evaluate if the temp ban should be elevated to a perm-a-ban.

6. Retains all the responsibilities of the helper position.

Helper:

1. First line of help on the server. Deals with general disputes and basic player investigation.

2. Lag cleaning. Confirms if a section of the server is significantly laggy, and either would let the player make a build more efficient, modify the build to be more optimized, or store away the laggy system ONLY IF NEEDED. 

3. Basic chat moderation and management. Responsible for simmering down chat, and reporting potentially laggy / corrupted areas of the server to the higher chain of command.

4. Basic player management, IE, may temp mute, timeout, or warn a player as needed for violating the server rules or causing a ruckus. 

T-Helper:
